BREAKING: In Episode 1 of Season 3 of “The Case,” we revealed two major details in the Anne Barber Dunlap murder investigation that have never been publicly reported before.
The first: Brad Dunlap attempted to deposit a $10,000 Christmas check at an ATM outside Minneapolis the night Anne disappeared in December 1995. The check was made out to Anne, a gift from her parents.
The second: We uncovered that Brad was involved in a sexual relationship with a coworker both before and after Anne’s murder. That individual later became tied to insurance-related litigation connected to the case, and her story changed over the years.
Anne Dunlap was found murdered in Minneapolis on Jan. 1, 1996. Nearly 30 years later, the case remains unsolved.

I am behind, but I had it in my calendar that Matthew Farwell had a hearing today. No surprise, it was pushed back once again to December 16, 2025. Farwell also terminated one of his attorneys, Jane F. Peachy, and submitted a motion to modify a protective order. Farwell wants to be able to view "cleaned-up versions" of Sandra Birchmore's phone and laptop data (with any inappropriate pictures or videos removed) on his own, without his lawyers always being there. This would happen only during set times in a special review room, and he can’t print, copy, keep, write down, or take any of that information with him. The government agrees to this change.
