Westbrook has only covered this mark in games where he has shot 50% or better from deep, a number that just cannot be sustainable for the career 30% shooter. His current 39.7% average would be just the 2nd time he has crossed 35% in his 20 total seasons. Kings will be facing this MIN team that just beat them by 27 points despite possessing the full offensive weapons of LaVine/DeRozan/Sabonis. Westbrook is 2/8 on the year to this PRA mark with those three, both games covering against The Nuggets.

This matchup is hard, and Russ had just 7 PRA in 16min the last meeting. We saw Achiuwa run 30 minutes here for size matching, his most so far with the team and will be needed again with a large frontcourt of Gobert/Randle/Reid. When Russ was in, he defended Conley and Edwards the most, leaving him far from rebound positioning -- hence the 0 rebounds logged. Russ is pretty poor at fighting through a Rudy screen, so Ant fired off 11 3PA here as well.

Westbrook as a PA guy thrives in PACE, where MIN plays B10 in that regard while being above average in limiting turnovers. MIN drive collapse + already hard individual matchups in Ant/Reid make this a hard line to pass.
