Students spent the day at the @SECONDHOME_IO venue in Spitalfields. This colourful co-working spaces offers a unique environment for individuals and businesses to work outside of a traditional office, the heart of their mission being job creation as they support entrepreneurs.

The Big Pitch!

Our MBA students in the 'Being an Entrepreneur: New Venture Creation' elective recently had an exciting day in London, where they delivered their pitches for their new enterprises, presenting to module lead William Casely, guests, and their MBA colleagues.

Students spent this day refining their venture idea and practicing their pitches. This learning will culminate next week, as they travel up to London to deliver the Big Pitch!

For the MBA 'Being an Entrepreneur: New Venture Creation' elective, students worked in The Hive at Exeter Science, a collaborative work and hot desking space that has been developed by business support provider @SETsquaredExe, which is part of the world-leading @setsquared!

This elective focuses on exploring the concepts of entrepreneurship related to new enterprise formation. Students have gained insights into creating, researching, and pitching credible plans, understanding business model creation, and learning to launch a successful enterprise.

MBA Behavioural Economics module 2024 – that’s a wrap! A big congratulations to this year’s cohort for their fantastic participation, testing their ideas by designing new behavioural interventions that raised more donations for charity - Leading the way for a better world!
