@JLazzy23 Lacombe is ahead of him, is reaching, and looks more engaged in the play but from the angle the linesman was at, you can’t tell. Unfortunate call for the ducks but that’s how it goes sometimes

@ESPNRefNHL do you think refs should err on the side of “tie goes to the runner” on calls like this.. clearly the ref is coming from that far side and that angle it looks closer than this one.. but IMO a ref should blow this dead to avoid this situation when it’s this close
