83 people have died in NY State prisons in just the first 6 months of 2026 — one every 48 hours. This is a crisis.
We need action now to create real pathways home and pass the CNC Bills.
No family should fear their loved one won’t come home alive.

We've been proud to help expand New York City's vital Human Rights Law, to housing, employment, and beyond.
But without funding for investigations, without the teeth to go after bad actors, NYC won't live up to the letter and promise of the law. Our city MUST fully fund @NYCCHR.
