@FUTDonkey@umirf1 This is always my problem with an idea that extra defensive players promote a more defensive performance… it doesn’t
Most players understand where they need to be in a 4 back system, once you go 5 back or worse unless you’re very organised its too easy to assume responsibility
@9spdv2@DanielPriestley A lot is to do with childcare, £1 over 100k completely removes any free childcare allowance. So for instance if you have a child in childcare, the difference between 100k and 100,001 per year would be finding an extra 25k to keep the child in nursery etc
@FUTDonkey Best side won but fuck me… you can’t just hand the initiative to them.. seen this so many times with Southgate and now Tuchel
If I was a player I’d be fuming, you’re on top, press the advantage
@DanielPriestley@DaDiscordDev5a Wealth creation in your sense doesn’t guarantee a broad share, it doesn’t ‘lift all boats’
Wages have stagnated, whilst assets have risen sharply, so wealth IS being created, its just captured by the higher classes, if entrepreneurship helped all we wouldn’t be where we are now
@jimbocrofts@dense_evi@AaronBastani@KonstantinKisin Its not though, and we’ve gone over it already you’ve just ignored it to double down on the only real point you have
Estimated tax loss of around 10m from those 25% and wealth tax generated about 2.5bn
So yeah.. its no big deal
Arguably only accelerated remigration not caused
@jimbocrofts@AaronBastani@KonstantinKisin Their companies were still there, what exactly do billionaires assets do unless they’re investing? Just saying ‘assets left’ means nothing
They probably would have left anyway and the broader economic effects of the remigration wasn’t particularly bad, tax is working so far
@jimbocrofts@AaronBastani@KonstantinKisin Meh… its overstated, the wealth tax in Norway brings in around 2bn and the leavers cost was around 10m.. so yeah, rich leave, those that can probably will anyway
In Norway its proven to work and Norway objectively has best quality of life in the world
@jimbocrofts@AaronBastani@KonstantinKisin The top 1% in this case hold 22% of the wealth, the top 10% hold 50%
So yes, it is a responsibility of the those top earners that have to help support those that have not
@samharrisonnnn@St_evieSteve@AlfieHouseEcho Regardless of the Veiga touch… the croat is offside before that because of the touch from the Croatian strikers head mate
The Veiga touch is completely irrelevant to any of it… if it touched Veiga first… then the Croatian striker, then the goalscorer it would be your scenario
