TFW your wife has her friends over for dinner for the first time since the pandemic started and 10 min before they arrive the cat vomits all over the rug and you break a glass, cut your foot, bleed everywhere and have to pull out the vacuum as they arrive. Have a nice weekend!
.@Jess_miers tweet reminds me —
Are you a law student, anywhere, taking an AT exam this spring? Want office hour help? Have a random question? Email me. DM me. Set up a zoom. Whatever works.
@DavidPriess Thx David. One of my favorite memories from my youth was going to the 1978 Spanish Grand Prix, meeting @MarioAndretti and having a nice chat with him after he won (v. gracious), and seeing George Harrison eating fried chicken after the race. Here Comes the Sun is still fantastic.
Wow, a 49 min master class on vishing (phone attacking) by @navalny himself to an FSB officer involved in his own attempted nerve agent murder. Excellent work by @bellingcat.
I’ll break down the pretext and exact stand out vishing moments in this thread. https://t.co/adSz8XNYDl
2020 #gratitude for health care workers, essential workers (e.g., grocery stores, public works), scientists+public health experts+people making the vaccines, first responders, election officials, those who spoke up, friends+family, and Twitter for taking a chance on me. #OneTeam
This morning, I made a donation to @foodbankmetrodc because we are still in the middle of a pandemic, unemployment is high, and many people are food insecure. Also, it just seemed like the right thing for me to do today. https://t.co/HmrTrY1JKW

It’s critical to get girls and young women involved in cybersecurity and national security. Since 2016, Girl Security has been leading the way in closing the gender gap in national security through learning, training and mentoring support for girls. Very excited about this!

With lots of talk this morning about the Insurrection Act and whether the President can and should use the federal military to help maintain / restore order, I'm re-upping this #thread on what that statute authorizes, how it relates to the Posse Comitatus Act, and open questions:
To emphasize, the Insurrection Act requires a formal proclamation in order to be invoked. Trump *threatened* to use it if state National Guards aren’t effective, but vague threats and ambiguous speeches don’t cut it. He wants to look tough without actually taking responsibility.
