@BernieSanders 60k for teachers is still too low compared to other professions that require a 4 year degree. Especially when the average yearly raise is less than 1%. At least in Florida.

@jpalmiotti One hopes nothing would happen because they want the IP, but with the Ellison overlords they could put their thumbs on things to oversee story lines or change those they see as being controversial. My hope is that shareholders reject the deal altogether.

@DiscussingFilm @business No good will come from this. WB should just remain as an independent company. Paramount wanted CNN so they could control news and offered an obscene amount of money to do it. I only hope shareholders say no. But greed wins most times. I’m sure it will here too.

@FlxDave @DiscussingFilm Is paramount really any better? All they really want is CNN. I also think it’s just too much for one company. If it must be sold I wouldn’t mind seeing Apple buy it. They like movies they need a library. Amazon hasn’t completely pissed away MGM. Maybe Apple just lets WB be WB.
