A Bank Holiday surprise!
I've only ever seen pictures of this before but here's Ralph in A Family At War as Private Fuller in Series 2 episode 11 "Hazard"! (1971) The late great Jim Hazeldine on his right as well. (Alex)
@TobyHadoke We've had this little stage model oddity from the original 1968 production of Close The Coal house Door by Alan Plater at the Newcastle Playhouse on a shelf for forever. Inside there has always been a little cutout of John Woodvine. One of Ralph's souvenirs. (Alex)
@TobyHadoke Thanks to a Nichol Morton on Facebook this photo ties up. Looks like it might be an original stage model, unless Dad made it which is also quite possible. We also have Dad's copy of Close The Coal house Door annotated with directions, comments and ideas by Alan Plater.

Superior sideburns (or sideboards as Dad used to call them) as always! π (Alex)
