❗️🇬🇹 - In Guatemala, police arrested 35-year-old Israeli national Yoel Alter near a children's shelter. Alter, a member of the ultra-Orthodox Lev Tahor sect, is subject to an extradition order to Mexico on charges of suspected human trafficking.

This arrest is part of a broader crackdown on Lev Tahor's activities following a December raid where authorities liberated 160 children from one of the sect's farms, now under state protection.

Lev Tahor, established in Guatemala since 2013 after its formation in the 1980s, is also facing allegations of sexual abuse and has been involved in riots demanding the return of the children.
