Anonymous tips aren’t just helpful, they’re necessary. In smaller communities, anonymity often determines whether someone speaks up at all. Make it easy, and make it safe.
At the county-level, communication gaps aren’t always visible, but they exist. If reporting isn’t simple and accessible, information never reaches you. Reduce friction, and increase awareness.
You’re responsible for the entire county, but someone in your community is already where you need to be and may be seeing what you need to see. The question is, do they have a clear way to reach you to tell you what they know?
The question isn’t whether your community will look for answers. The question is: Will they find verified truth, or speculation and misinformation first?
Avery had a great time at the Georgia Tactical Officers Association (GTOA) Annual Training Conference.
It was a valuable few days connecting with tactical officers from across the state and supporting those who serve on the front lines every day.
Silence doesn’t slow misinformation, it accelerates it. Sheriffs who communicate early reduce confusion, anxiety, and unnecessary calls. Presence builds trust.
Our team is in Reno this week for the Western States Sheriffs' Association Annual Conference.
We’re honored to spend time with the sheriffs and leaders who work every day to protect and serve their communities.
It was a privilege to have our very own Director of Strategic Engagement, Michaela Thomas, lead a seminar on Intentional Communication at last week’s Pennsylvania Sheriffs’ Association Conference. Thank you!

Social platforms weren’t built for county-wide law enforcement leadership. Sheriffs need a platform designed for authority, transparency, and control.
https://t.co/12ujrs1rUQ serves as an official communication command center for sheriff’s offices.
So glad to have Avery and Phil representing https://t.co/rO5Z1p50BR and https://t.co/mhXS9cEAyN at the GA Jail Management Training Conference last week. Great conversations, strong connections and real impact for the agencies we serve.
It was a privilege to spend time with so many dedicated leaders last week at the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Association Conference!
I had some fantastic conversations about how TheSheriffApp.com is helping Arkansas agencies bridge the gap with their citizens.
Is your office in the palm of your community’s hand?
I’m at the WS&DSA Winter Training Conference this week showing Wisconsin’s leaders how a custom mobile app bridges the gap between agencies and the public.
Trust only works if residents know where to go for accurate information. Consistency and predictability matter.
Many sheriff’s offices use https://t.co/nJ6J5ThJeZ to centralize communication and reinforce credibility.
Avery and Jay enjoyed sharing how a custom mobile app helps Tennessee agencies innovate their communication and keep citizens informed. We're proud to provide the "missing piece" for law enforcement across the Volunteer State.
As Sheriff Doug Adams shares, effective communication bridges transparency and trust.
