And we'll (I'm bringing Mrs Fez) see you tomorrow (today!) You lovely people!
@theslipinnyork is one of 9 pubs on the walkabout and is Yorks real gems of a pub, great beer festivals & recent award winners with @YorkCAMRA ππ»
Huge thanks to all the staff, volunteers, musicians, #brewers, #cider makers and thirsty attendees who helped make the return of our annual #SwanSlipFestival such an amazing #community event.
Rest assured, we WILL be doing it again next year, and much more besides...

This weekend!
See what a couple of small local #pubs that are free of all dreaded industry ties can do to support and promote indie UK #brewers! π»β
Huge thanks to our devoted customers and #community, who make this on-tap array possible. β€οΈπΊ
@CampaignforPubs@YorkCAMRA
Tonight at the Slip Inn we are delighted to be receiving another award from York CAMRA. π»ππ
There will of course be speeches, and free sandwiches galore!
We will also be making a *special announcement*!!
So why not come down grab a pint and lend us an ear from 7.30...? πΊ
Oh the irony...
Most communities had exactly this in the past.
Yet over recent decades the main root cause of the mass destruction and loss of those same pubs has been the relentless extraction of life-giving profit by
rapacious pub companies ruthlessly exploiting the beer tie.
Congrats to the fab #independent owners of the Bailey Head, Oswestry! π»
Such success is repeated time and time again where a pub can be rescued for the #community from hideous pub companies.
Just as we did here with award-winning @theslipinnyork and @vollyarmsyork π»β€οΈπͺ
π’**brand new #beerlaunch tomorrow**π»
Enjoyed some truly sublime beer on a recent visit with @theswanyork to the fab @DonzokoBeer tap room in Newcastle's ace Ouseburn Valley.
So now both our pubs are in on the launch of their brand new Nitro Dark tomorrow.
#absolutelymint! π»
Volunteer Arms (@vollyarmsyork) π»
Our independent, locally owned and run free house, serving the #community of St Paul's, Holgate, #York.
Rescued from the brink of corporate (pubco) oblivion in 2011. πͺπ₯°
