@evanlweber@Bernlennials@TomPerez@DNC Tom Perez does not need to be the chairman of the DNC he should be in jail for allowing election fraud of 2016 along with HRC Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the rest of the bought and paid for corrupt Democrats
.@TomPerez nominations for 2020 @DNC: a who’s-who of ppl explicitly opposed to the progressive agenda.
Lots of talk of a “Big Tent” Party…
Big enough to fit these corporate fat cats, while those of us fighting for the people are left out in the cold.

We need a full societal mobilization to avert climate change. That means politicians but it also means building a movement of working class people to ensure that
1) we have a comprehensive answer to the climate crisis
2) our solution works for everybody, not just an elite few.
Today I am endorsing Senator @BernieSanders for president.
In the end, we must come together to defeat Donald Trump. We should do so knowing he is a symptom of a larger problem - and our greatest hope is a multiracial, working class movement in the United States of America.
@Bentler This is great, but what we need is more organizers. I will look for what the geniuses come up with. BTW, many geniuses before them have failed at this work. We all have. Geniuses and organizers unite!
Actually, that would make government better - not worse.
Imagine if more people in power spent years of their lives actually working for a living.
We’d probably have healthcare and living wages by now.
Join me and school strikers for global #climatestrike & week of action starting on September 20. Let's act like this is a #ClimateEmergency: https://t.co/UUZOD0gRmR
I'm proud to be joining the call for adults to join the youth for an all-ages Global #ClimateStrike this September 20 to kick off a week of climate action. Join us! https://t.co/zVI87kpV3E

Young and old all need to rise up and challenge Biden. He's banking on the old school Democratic Party corporate block, which oddly includes sections of the labor movement, to get elected. and if we all don't rise in opposition he may very well succeed.
.@JoeBiden is developing a climate plan that seeks to a find a 'middle ground' with fossil fuels— and a fracking board member is one of his climate advisors.
"If Biden wants to be taken seriously on climate, he must distance himself from frackers"

The window to address a looming climate disaster is shrinking, we already see working people's lives bearing the brunt, in their homes & at their jobs. Economic inequality & threats to the environment are deeply intertwined – a Green New Deal framework is vital to fighting both.
"If we're going to make progress, we need to declare our North Star, and our North Star is 100% renewable energy, it's Medicare-for-All, it's tuition-free public colleges, it's investing in technology and renewable resources" -@AOC on her vision for America
"We're relying on people all around the country to nominate teachers, union workers, nurses, people who have these experiences of holding their communities together in order to elect working class champions like @AOC" -@alexandrasiera, JD Executive Director
.@RepBarbaraLee, one of the 90 cosponsors of the Green New Deal: “Black, brown, and low-income communities bear the brunt of pollution and environmental degradation, accelerated by climate.” https://t.co/uE1hiBXAKz
Critics seem to think they can defeat the #GreenNewDeal by repeating a tired mantra: "We can't afford to do it."
The real question is: "How can we afford not to?"
