@RobertCox @LoliCox That would have been something! Nowadays it is rare to salvage finds. Wrecks are actually better preserved on the seabed. Especially in the Baltic Sea, with its cold brackish water, and lack of ship worm. The wreck will, however, be digitally salvaged. :) /Anders, The Vasa Museum

@Knytanders Hej! Det stämmer att Tomas Nilsson fann spår av rötangrepp i delar av Vasas fockmast vid sin undersökning inför att masten skulle återfå sin plats på skeppet 1993. Träets styrka påverkas kraftigt av röta och kanske hade vi sett en helt annan katastrof om Vasa fått segla vidare!
