Its ramparts are imbued with Scotland’s extraordinary martial tradition and forever makes one proud of the Scottish soldier, generation by generation.
Like me, General Bob has faced conflict in company with Scottish soldiers: we both hold unconfined awe for their raw courage, endless energy and direct humour.
