Four years ago, we started @JamboSpaces with one simple belief “ Creatives Need Space” Not just a desk or four walls, but places to create, collaborate, learn, experiment, meet people and turn ideas into something real. So, we built one in Accra. But over the years, as we worked with creatives across Africa, we started to discover something exciting: we had sparked something bigger. More spaces like ours were emerging, not just in Accra, but in cities across the continent. Studios. Creative hubs. Coworking spaces. Cultural centres. Makerspaces. Community spaces. Third spaces are growing fast, and creators are looking for them. Today, we’re taking Jambo beyond our physical space in Tse Addo and launching the Jambo Creator Space Directory: a free platform helping creatives discover the spaces where creativity is happening across Africa. And we have an ambitious goal: 10,000 spaces across Africa by 2028. The bigger vision is to make Africa’s creative infrastructure visible, connected and easier to access. So help us build the directory. Do you run a space? Add it. Do you Know a great space? Tag them.
Do you Know someone building one? Send this to them. Let’s put the places powering African creativity on the map. https://t.co/H2aurhhOj0 or click the link in the bio.
