Travel through Inverkeithing station? You might recognise this location...
We've been using a tamper to make sure the track is in tip-top condition. Smoothing out any minor bumps and confirming what's actually out on the ground matches our engineers design.

#ThenAndNow#Monday is here!
We love the old Forth Road Bridge here at the Archive. What better way to celebrate that than with comparison photos from the early 1960s and today? The old photo was taken where the Traffic Scotland building currently sits.

The @innerforth bike bus returns on Sunday 17th May. It's a free service between Alloa and the Forth Bridges. You can cycle (or walk) part of the 'Round the Inner Forth' route, hop off at fascinating heritage sites, and return home or to a bus stop/ train station for their onward travels. See timetable below for details. #forthbridges #climateforth
The Forth Bridges are like buses… you wait for one to show up on our feed and then all three do at once. So there’s nothing for it… you just need to enjoy the view 🤩!

Scotland’s Forth Bridges are a wonder of the modern world and one of Scotland's most recognisable locations. Towering side by side over the Firth of Forth, these structures represent the pinnacle of engineering across three centuries.
