We are asking a new question at the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy:
What changes because of you?
As the Academy evolves into its next chapter, the language defining who we are and what we stand for must evolve too. We have officially adopted a new motto: What Changes Because Of You?
This is more than a slogan. It is a direct challenge, to each of us, to step into our individual power, embrace our responsibility, and take ownership of the outcomes around us.
We want everyone within the LJLA ecosystem to continually ask:
What is changing because of me?
What has changed because of me?
What will change because of me?
True leadership does not start with what institutions, systems, or governments can do for us. It starts with what you do—with the knowledge you hold, the resources you have, and the precise space you occupy right now.
Let this question follow you into every room you enter, every policy you write, every community you serve, and every complex challenge you confront.
Do not wait for the future to happen. Build it.
What changes because of you?

This is a really great idea!! The household needs an OS. This should be able to interface with everything that already exists like smart speakers, TVs etc. It can start from basic to super connected and customized. I love this idea!! A winner!!!

The first feature I tried was bill payments. That is where things can fall through the cracks. The biggest advantage of a product like this is one everyone will avoid talking about. If one spouse dies or is incapacitated, everything can fall apart because the OS was one person.
Back in April, my wife and I launched Spondle to be the family hub that takes shopping, chores, calendars and everything the home runs on from your head into one shared system.
I've never posted it here, but this is the video from when we launched, and the why behind it. 👇
Leadership is not simply about holding a position. It is about growth, purpose, the choices we make, the people we influence, and the impact we leave behind.
That is why we have introduced “The Leadership Room”, a six-month conversation series created to explore the ideas, experiences and perspectives that shape exceptional leaders.
Across six conversations, we will journey from awakening the leader within to building a legacy that endures, with spectacular speakers already lined up to bring fresh insights and real-world experiences to the room. In the coming days, we will reveal our first speaker.
This is more than another conversation series. It is an opportunity to learn, question, grow and gain perspectives that could shape your leadership journey. And when opportunities like this come, you do not want to be the person who looks back and wishes you had taken the chance.
The link drops soon. When it does, register!!!

We have an enforcement problem in Nigeria, its really upsetting!
When it comes to sensitisation, there has been some improvement but we are not solving any problem yet because there are consequences but it is not enforced.
People do what you supervise not what you say or teach.
