I have often wondered if the BJP wins by mobilizing SC/OBC votes. There is a fair amount of data I suppose (open to interpretation) that may support this explanation.

In UP it was a non-Yadav OBC mobilisation .. and to a lesser extent a non-Jatav Dalit mobilisation … that provided the ballast - among other things @DrAyeshaRay … in 2014, 2019 and 2022 as well
