When Facebook first appeared, it felt like a digital extension of real life. You connected with people you actually knew, shared photos from your day, talked about what was happening in your life, and stayed in touch with friends and family. In many ways, it was an open diary shared with your circle.
Today, social media feels very different. Algorithms, influencers, brands, outrage, politics, and endless content from strangers have largely replaced those personal connections.
If you had the choice, would you go back to a social network centered on your real-life friends, or do you prefer what social media has become?
As for me, I'd go back to the old Facebook in the blink of an eye.
We also take care of stray cats in our small refuge. Between 15-20 stray cats hanging around here.
Right now we have 2 mama and 4 kittens growing on our land.
We did not know about those 2 kittens. The one we got and the car that stopped and took the other one to bring him into their home.
@RoaringHammy I confirm this is the way in Canada.
Lost my wallet twice and got it back twice without anything missing. People found me on social medias and contacted me to get it back.
