1/ Isometric recently received conditional endorsement by @ICROA as an accredited carbon crediting program. Isometric is the first registry to receive endorsement against the newest version of ICROAโs guidelines, which were recently updated with more stringent requirements.
๐ This week we are looking forward to a visit from Dr Ali Kiani from the Sustainable Carbon Technologies Group @CSIRO in Australia. We will be hearing about amine-based DAC technology development.
๐ This week we are looking forward to hearing about new experimental workflows for microporosity mapping from @JcrpMnK from @rosteadys' research group. Join us in the Sargent centre or online! DM for invitation if you are not already on the mailing list.
๐ This week we are looking forward to hearing from @MerschMatthias from @CEP_Lab at @ImperialChemEng. Matthias will be telling us about his work on clean ammonia production.
I'm looking forward to chairing this panel discussion on Underground Hydrogen Storage, together with @CarstenWedler as part of the @ImperialTNZ seminar series.
It promises to be an insightful and educational discussion. DM @ImperialTNZ for an invitation if interested!
๐ An exciting TNZ Seminar this week as we will be hosting a panel session on Underground Hydrogen Storage! We will be hearing from Edward Hough from British Geological Survey, UK and Hadi Hajibeygi from TU Delft, The Netherlands. Online only - DM for invitation.
๐ For this week's seminar we are looking forward to hearing from @StevenSachio1 from @ImperialChemEng. He will be sharing his work on process flexibility for carbon capture adsorbent selection.
๐ This Friday we will host the last TNZ seminar in 2023 and we are looking forward to hearing from Atefeh Vafaie, Postdoc in @ESEImperial at @imperialcollege. Atefeh will be presenting her work on chemical interactions of CO2 with carbonate rocks.
๐ Looking forward to hearing from @KleioAZervidi at the TNZ seminar tomorrow, Friday 1st of December. Kleio is from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, and will be discussing a novel hybrid process for DAC.
In person and online seminar.
๐ซ The first transatlantic flight powered by #SustainableAviationFuel has taken off from London's Heathrow Airport bound for JFK in New York.
A team of @imperialcollege researchers led by Dr Marc Stettler will study the climate impacts of the flight. #SAF https://t.co/rM0bfF9nxS
I had an interesting evening at the @EnergyFuturesIC@imperialcollege Future Energy Festival giving an overview of our CO2 capture research in the Complex Porous Media Lab (@rosteadys) @ImperialChemEng
Lots of inspiring research was on show! ๐ค
Looking forward to chairing this session of @ImperialTNZ this Friday - welcoming David from our group! (@rosteadys)
Send @ImperialTNZ a DM if youโre interested to join โ๏ธ
