Asians, please free yourself from your parents’ expectations, because if winning the Nobel Peace Prize is it, they don’t love you.

[Andrew Chung @thisisandrewc]

The funniest thing about getting older is the more people you hate and the less people you love.

[Andrew Chung @thisisandrewc]

If someone landed a big break today, does that mean they weren’t talented enough yesterday? If the answer is no, close your eyes and imagine how many talented people walk among us. Imagine that it is you. Know that it is you.

@ayl 😂😂😂

[Andrew Chung @thisisandrewc]

Y’all…do any of you speak Asian?

[Andrew Chung @thisisandrewc]

Lotta orgs seem to think cultivating community and cultivating elitism are the same thing.

[Andrew Chung @thisisandrewc]

If white ppl heard the vile underhanded things Asians say to one another that they would never dare say to a white person, they’d understand just how deep the self-hate in our community runs.

[Andrew Chung @thisisandrewc]

Nothing worse than TIFF time, cause ppl will ask you “you going to TIFF?” when they really mean, “can you get me into anything at TIFF?”

[Andrew Chung @thisisandrewc]

🎶 It’s the most tedious time of the year 🎶 Listen y’all, the answer is no, I can’t, I’m an absolute NOBODY.

[Andrew Chung @thisisandrewc]

@coldangrycanuck This is true lol

[Andrew Chung @thisisandrewc]

Imagine being an actor who can’t go to a single premiere of the biggest film on the planet at the time because your appearance in it is a spoiler. #DeadpoolAndWolverine

What’s wild is that ppl who think they’re immune from being racist actually think they’re immune from biases and social conditioning. Are you someone who just happens to like your own ppl or is it because you spent your whole life around your own ppl?

I walk into the room and stop and just stare at my partner. And she says “Drake dropped ANOTHER diss track?” She knows me way too well.

The other day someone congratulated me for getting cheers from one of my filmmaker peers they looked up to.
