Cybersecurity Month begins tomorrow. Reminder that Arculus will never ask you for your recovery phrase. Today's cybersecurity tip is a big one in the #crypto world.
Inheritance is an important part of self-custody. With Arculus, your recovery phrase is all you need to pass on your crypto assets safely to someone you trust. Secure storage today means peace of mind for tomorrow.

A crypto exchange operates a lot like a bank, you deposit your assets, and they hold them for you. But when leadership makes poor decisions or takes on excessive risk, customers are the ones who suffer. Cold storage removes that dependency. With your private keys stored offline and under your control, your crypto isn’t exposed to someone else’s decisions..

Arculus believes your crypto should go wherever YOU go. Take your 12 or 24 words and move to any wallet you want because at the end of the day, it's your assets, your keys, your Bitcoin.
That's what real ownership looks like.

@naturescarecd Entropy is generated on NIST certified TRNG secure element. The secure element follows NIST SP 800-90B requirements for entropy & randomness.
Our Arculus cold storage wallet is not affected by the MicroPython library vulnerability impacting Coldcard. Arculus does not employ this type of architecture or library.
Arculus utilizes a secure element with a NIST certified Random Number Generator to create its entropy for recovery phrases. This same type of secure element protects payment cards and national passports around the world.

@Adam_Ogilvie_ Thank you for the feedback! We will share your suggestion for Digibyte and DigiDollar with our team, as we are continuously expanding the list of assets we support.
Great question, and one we take seriously. A few things worth knowing:
Arculus isn't a fly-by-night startup. We're part of CompoSecure, a company with 25+ years in secure hardware and payment technology, publicly traded on the NYSE. We're not going away.
But more importantly — you're never dependent on us to access your funds. Self-custody is the whole point. When you set up your Arculus wallet, you get a standard BIP39 recovery phrase. That's an industry-standard format, not something proprietary to us.
As long as you've saved that recovery phrase, your assets are yours — full stop. If the Arculus app ever stopped working, you could restore your wallet using that same recovery phrase on anoher BIP39-compatible wallet and keep full control of your funds. No lock-in, no dependency on our servers.
That's the difference between true self-custody and a custodial service — your keys, your crypto.
