@billmeltzer@JameyBaskow This "straightforward" explanation gives management a complete pass.
The bottom line is that Fletcher and AV tanked Ghost's value in stunning ways, and put him in tough positions that didn't play to his strengths. Then, they'd cry that he wasn't any good.
Real close to the Discman that I actually had...
But at that time?
Avalanche by Matthew Good.
Or it could have been Thirteenth Step by A Perfect Circle.
@frosted_blakes6@TSN_Sports Poehling did touch the puck.
And I could see how, in real time, McNabb could think:
1. Poehling will receive the puck in a return pass to break out.
2. Poehling touched it recently enough to still be eligible for a hit.
Regardless, it's interference. But a major is a lot.
@ashlynrsullivan@TheLibertyYell The question he passed on, he had an interesting response.
His translator said "Can I skip that question?"
But Google Translate said "Come on. I won't even answer this question."
He showed frustration for sure. And I do think there's a disconnect somewhere.
@FlyersNation These are actually close to regular season Leafs tickets.
Lower bowl there will often go for $500-$2000. Standing room only (highest space available), I've seen as high as $200. Upper bowl seats are still great, but range from $150-300/seat.
Gear stinks. It's sometimes hard to find a proper sports wash.
Also, NEVER Febreeze your stuff; that will make it worse.
Glove stink is the worst of it. That'll be on some kids' hands for days.
The one year I played hockey in high school, the biggest takeaway was that everyone's equipment/pads smelled terrible. The worst smelling locker room in history.
Is that true of NHL equipment? Does everyone stink?
@BrianPhelps7@DR3Wheels We're talking about Michkov.
I haven't seen Michkov do anything effective in the offensive zone since the playoffs started. This is because he's holding the puck, looking for a play, and being checked before he can find one.
He has not adjusted to the speed of play.
@afern_alex Why? This is a sunk-cost fallacy.
Michkov is so obviously a step behind everyone on the ice and continues to skate into trouble instead of moving the puck. He still hasn't addressed his penalty issues either.
Michkov can't keep playing just because he's Michkov.
He has flashes of offensive brilliance. But this is where he can develop consistency and speed up his puck-moving decisions.
Maybe it's only half a season down there. But watching him in these important games, it's clear he's more than a step behind.
The AHL can fix that.
Hot take on Michkov:
He should start next season in the AHL.
His decision-making at the NHL level is too slow, this could help.
His inability to adapt to the North American game might finally get fixed.
Let him work this out at a lower level, in a VERY good development league.
Also around 7 years old. Taken in St. Catharines, Ontario. Still a die hard Flyers fan. Grew up wishing I could play for them.
It's rough being an out of market fan sometimes.
Bundy, you lived the dream. I've got at least one of your rookie cards.
Yep that's me around 7 yrs with my Flyers gear . My mom sent me this. It's was meant to be I guess. Weird too because I grew up a Habs fan as I lived in Ottawa 90 mins away and the Sens had no team! #IgniteTheOrange
