🎓Not everyday you have an opportunity to give your child his diploma — I tools the personal privilege to do so and I told him this:
“To my son, Hudson, Watching you grow into the man you are today has been the greatest honor of my life. You have worked hard, stayed true to yourself, and earned your place on this stage.
I could not be prouder to hand you this diploma tonight-not just because I'm your superintendent, but because I am your biggest fan.”
You don’t need a world-class studio when you have world-class vision! 🌍📸 My son took these incredible shots right in our neighborhood garden. It’s amazing to see his growth—from a kid with a dream to a young entrepreneur with his own photography business. 📈✨
What an amazing turnout at the annual JMCSS International Festival! 🌍🎉
Students, families, staff, and community members came together to celebrate culture, diversity, music, food, and traditions from around the world. A special thank you to Dr. Nancy Ibrahim for her efforts!
It’s decision time! 🍎 If you’re looking for your next "home," I want that choice to be JMCSS.
We aren’t perfect, but we are purposeful. My #1 rule is Love Your Employees, and my team and I strive every day to ensure our schools are safe, caring spaces where you can truly belong.
There’s always work to do, but I know you’ll L❤️VE doing it with us!
Can’t wait to celebrate at EduFEST 2026 (district-wide tailgate)—it’s going to be a blast. Join our family -- you won't regret!✨

@suptking You have been anointed for this position/ job. An anointed leader is chosen by God, not self-appointed or randomly assigned, but he or she knows that they are called by God to lead and is not driven by selfish ambition or the desire to be great. Thank you for your leadership!
Thanks to all of our parents for attending April’s STEP Chat and Chew. Leanne Pierce from the State Department of Education provided valuable insights on diploma options, preemployment and transition services, and vocational rehabilitation services for students. While the journey may be challenging, we are committed to supporting our students and parents. STEPPING together… Supporting, Training, Engaging Parents of students with disabilities!!! @JMCSchools@suptking

Majority of the JMCSS Board takes action on resolution opposing vouchers (savings accounts, scholarships, free money no strings, etc.) — whatever you want to call it. See below!! #winning
PLEASE RETWEET🚨Raise your teacher voice — the potential impact on public education with vouchers is unfathomable. We must continue to commit ourselves to providing high quality educational experiences for students. At this time in history, vouchers are not what we need in JMCSS.
We are thrilled to announce our first STEP session! STEP is a JMCSS initiative aimed at Supporting, Training, Engaging, and Parents of students with disabilities! Check out the flyer for details and remember to sign up! Link in the comments! @suptking@JMCSchools
