No illegal equipment.
No sticky substance.

No off-field misconduct issues.
No banned substance use.
No derogatory behavior.
No illegal substitution.
No player safety infraction.
No age violation.

Nothing that might logically warrant a high school kid being deemed ineligible.

No - instead - a 17 year old kid being shunned and ousted because of an outdated and insensible “rule”. This was the wrong hill to die on.

Imagine being on either side of this. Nobody wins here.

For the kids? No.
