Many TIGERS & other colleagues were very concerned about events last week at the Advance HE Gender in HE Conference 2022, where a debate pertinent to trans rights was scheduled, with no trans representation. TIGERS are hosting a letter to Advance HE: https://t.co/bgrOLWsyCv
Looks great: Eleanor Townsend will discuss her ongoing progress to improve LGBTQ+ inclusion in the medical school curriculum at the University of Exeter, and Kieran Loft will give a tour of the eye and share their experiences as a queer person in the field of ophthalmology!!
Our next event is on Wednesday 18th November for LGBTQ+ STEM day. We're hearing from Eleanor Townsend & Kieran Loft. In person (Exeter Library) and online. Get your ticket here: https://t.co/oZFfgo4HUE
