No fewer than 8 goals in his first six Premier League games for Haaland BUT he's never had an intense summer like this.

Only 29(+?) days rest (looks like he won't get mins this weekend). So, likely no pre-season minutes at all. Community Shield maybe first chance at minutes.

@barCOLEYna Worth saying that there are 8 Premier League teams with new managers so there will be points on the table so it’s not a forgone conclusion that the promoted teams will go straight back down - though Hull join as the weakest side in recent history so that will be a TOUGH job!

@CallumIlott2 There’s a bit of randomness to penalties. You only play each team once at each venue, there’s no “set strategy to go for penalties” so using non-penalty to look at a comparable baseline between all teams

@richard_archer Yeah, fair play to Palace, lots of representation. Few of them didn’t get too many mins for the national sides so that not be so bad and 8 might shortly be 7 with Lacroix leaving which probably isn’t a good thing!

Here is how the World Cup is impacting each team's pre-season. Not only do we have 7 new managers in the league, several will be initially without their key players (1,600 mins+ last season) who are returning late from the World Cup.

@FplCrisis Yeah with Europe, I am a bit worried but they did keep matches tight to get results from them despite not so great underlying xG data. Wouldn’t be surprised if they drop off from last season
