Thank you to @AllisonMorris1 who joined myself and @dmcbfs on an episode of @StormontSources discussing today’s events.
There will be other days for political implications, but today our thoughts are with the victims.

Nothing exposes performative politics faster than someone claiming they can’t use their own language, only to be told they can and then being unable to do so.
What is the rationale for a public service broadcaster like the BBC paying a DJ (Scott Mills) £750,000 a year to present the breakfast show on Radio 2 playing soft rock music which commercial radio already provides in abundance?
My dad was a chronic gambler.
Before a race he'd tell you why a certain horse could not lose.
After it had lost he'd explain why it did.
That is football punditry in a nutshell.
@jimtgreer I picked Spain before the tournament started. Best defence under pressure will always beat best attack. Spain have been so good for so long.
@blue_putin Hi, I used to have this pinned on my profile (had it pinned there for a good few years after the feature was allowed) as people often thought this was some sort of gotcha, but I voted remain. Thanks for asking!
Tried to buy something from an Etsy store based in England. They couldn’t fulfil the order due to GPSR rules. I ordered fairly much the same thing on AliExpress and was delivered today without issue from China.
How on earth can this be allowed to continue? Why have Etsy/UK Govt not sorted something to deal with the responsible person issue? Surely this is an easy fix?
Seems odd I can buy the same product from China and not Surrey
"Politicians behaving themselves it is important and in the public interest that if they haven't, they can get to the bottom of that."
Where should the line be drawn between private behaviour and public accountability.
Ollie Cole says the difference often comes down to where it happens, who sees it, and whether there is wider public interest.

@lugantseanti@NewtonEmerson Seems to be a complete waste of time. Stops honest people trading. That’s all it seems good for. If it was completely removed I doubt there would be much effect at all.
Mutual enforcement would make much more sense and be more effective
@NewtonEmerson It’s truly bizarre to me that countries in Asia just send stuff and it’s all fine no one cares, yet I couldn’t get 8 napkins from Surrey. Yet no bother getting same product direct from China! This digital gap in the sea border makes no sense!
Ann Widdecombe defended Nigel Farage's financial conduct in an interview recorded only 20 minutes before police believe she was attacked.
It shows her passionately-held beliefs and long political experience. This excerpt is being published with the permission of Ann's family.
"Reconciliation has to be more than just words."
This week guest Conor Murphy says the Irish Government missed an opportunity to strengthen relations with the unionist community by not appointing a unionist senator to the Seanad.
He argues that any conversation about constitutional change must be built on the principles of the Good Friday Agreement, including "parity of esteem, respect for traditions, and protections for minorities."

Sorcha is someone who is trying to make a difference across communities. I think she has been very brave since becoming MP and has sought to represent everyone. We need more Sorchas in this country
I couldn't see anyone else in the party trying this but serious respect to Sorcha.
That's how you do community engagement.
That's how you hold onto a Westminster seat in Lagan Valley.
@jimtgreer Hard to understand why he brought Mainoo? If you don’t like him and think (as Amorim did) he’s a liability in defensive third, just leave him at home
