@covertproxy @cowboy_postbop Caine is superb and it's no surprise that it launched him to stardom. The fact that it made him a sex symbol is perhaps why Alfie is often miss-thought of. But yeah, it was a surprisingly downbeat era of cinema - I maintain this is one reason why Star Wars was such a hit!

I appreciate the source but I’m convinced this person is still referring to the wrong scene. I first heard it was the Shanghai part where we do see Bond wearing the gloves in BTS stills and at the end of the scene. He also never handles his gun in the casino (RT due to OP block)

@RealEmirHan This is partially true but completely the wrong scene. It was the scene in Shanghai where he stalks Patrice through the skyscraper which he wore gloves in.
