Teachers DO NOT feel like you are making up or catching up anything this fall. Otherwise you will jump right into curriculum without building strong relationships, establishing routines, or developing expectations which will all actually helps the students be more successful.
We talk a lot about Ts building relationships with Ss but not principals building relationships with Ts. Ts are expected to leave their baggage at the door and just teach. That’s like telling an ACE student to just learn. Ts pls disclose to Principals how you are doing. We care!
