This is a brilliant project and its launch today in #Morecambe was very special. Huge far-reaching project; local voices recorded to form a string of seaside audio stories along the prom. Worth a listen @timeandtidebell or, better still, on location from Hest Bank to Heysham 🦐
In terrific weather on Sept 2, there was a splendid event to celebrate the installation of the @BellTideBrixham .A terrific day, a finale to five year's work on the part of Pauline, Chris Bryson, and others.

July 6 2023 marked the end of an extraordinary period of time for Rob Payne, Liz Dixon & their colleagues in Happisburgh to have been working on getting the bell in place. Their delight that the installation had at last come to pass shines in the video

This is what we think the bell will look like in situ at #Happisburgh but you can see for yourself, install on 6th July and inauguration on 9th July from 11am - This is 1 of 11 of our bells, each drawing attention to the rapidly increasing threat of #climatechange @AMALtdPR
"Happisburgh where the pace of erosion, hastened by #climatechange, is frightening & nothing is being done to stop it. The North Sea takes no prisoners as it pounds into the soft cliffs of Norfolk"John Craven @BBCCountryfile @guardian @AMALtdPR

Happisburgh #timeandtidebell will arrive on the beach on 6th July-mounted on a sled made of oak, it is a response to the continual erosion of the Happisburgh coastline, at somewhere around two to five meters a year! Shocking rates of erosion for this community. #climatechange
