Women make up ~80% of the healthcare workforce. We join the executive director of @timesuphc, Dr. Lauren Powell (@DrLaurenP), in sending our gratitude to all the workers on the front lines of this #COVID19 crisis, including many of our founding members and advisors. @TIMESUPNOW
Gender bias exists—even in a pandemic. Women are the backbone of society. Ignoring the need for data on how #COVID19 impacts them, & disproportionately impacts women of color, is unacceptable. COVID-19 data & vaccine trials must include women. #TIMESUPHC https://t.co/rdjQuvfZdP
Sending gratitude to the many who signed our card to say #ThankYouHealthCareWorkers, who have been risking their own safety to heal and care for our communities in this #COVID19 crisis.
Hundreds of personal messages poured in. We'll be sharing some of our favorites this week.

In these times of high stress and uncertainty, it is important to check in with yourself and see how you are feeling, why you are feeling it, and think of ways to be kind and good to yourself.

Next time you are tempted to write off a senior woman as being unsupportive of the women around her, think twice. She may just be doing the best she can in a gender discriminatory environment.

Woke up and saw this outside. You all are amazing. If you have a moment, consider leaving a note outside thanking your postal service / package delivery / grocery store workers / anyone else keeping us alive & connected these days! All in, all together against the virus!
My wife snapped this photo last night as she was leaving @nyphospital after her third shift in a row.
This man had been standing for hours outside with his puppy thanking every healthcare worker.
“Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”
These random people held up signs for us outside our ED today and gave me hope again. Then, I cried for the first time during all of this. Thank you, random strangers, your kindness means more than you can know. 🙏
At @TIMESUPNOW we want to hear from all the health care workers out there keeping our communities safe:
