@guyrleech @Lenovo Sawsall can cut the 5k down to 4. Be sure to unplug first.

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

@guyrleech I did once consider removing the middleman as part of the PSF intercept to sub-process launching, but found apps using the console port to communicate between gui apps and I would break them without the cmd middleman.

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

@guyrleech Because some Linux dev once share his code online. It gets worse now; as AI has seen it.

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

@NathanMcNulty Ah, the deprecation notice a couple years or so back didn't identify the replacement. I suppose FSLogix is their closest replacement for roaming.

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

@guyrleech But did you see IBM realead an agent called, and I kid you not, IBM Bob? https://t.co/fVA6xEEn1Q

@guyrleech It is actually a "Are you human" dialog box click too soon and it thinks you are a robot.

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

@nixcraft You might as well propose I give up Bacon for the month.

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

@guyrleech @davepl1968 Oh, that GA. What's next, Calculator app? "I am thinking of a number between 1 and 10. What is it?"

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

Third time always works.

[Guy Leech @guyrleech]

@TimothyMangan @archiexzzz And I rotate it

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

@guyrleech @archiexzzz HDMI cable to the large TV in the room solves that @guyrleech

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

@Rainmaker1973 Common in Slovakia also.

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

@guyrleech @davepl1968 Well obviously then @guyrleech they must add copilot to notepad as well. But remember the rule of children: more than 2 and they outnumber you and me.

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

2nd of 5 weeks in Europe done. Last week Bern Switzerland, this week Utrecht The Netherlands. 2 conferences where I spoke and 2 MSIX classes down, 3 classes more to go before I get home in November.

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

@it_unprofession There are plenty of free apps that run locally with much better features than paint. https://t.co/aOisesp6KB, Gimp, ImageGlass, etc...

[Timothy Mangan @TimothyMangan]

Ah, that won't happen when it is MSIX. The new version installs side by side and old removed once closed. #DoneTheRightWay

[Guy Leech @guyrleech]

Of course it's in use @MicrosoftStore , just give me the option to update the busy files during reboot - do you need me to teach you about the PendingFileRenameOperations registry VALUE ??

@guyrleech Implement a clip book to allow saving several (say 5). Add keyboard paste of certain clips by number. Bonus points if book saved between reboots.

@guyrleech @davepl1968 @csmcr At a university it was whatever the professor used. I remember learning Assembler, Pascal, Fortran, and something called Mumps (it wasn't catchy) on one.
