I stood with my colleagues in the Legislature at a press conference it the Capitol to show solidarity with the people of Minnesota and call for justice, accountability, and transparency in the face of two fatal federal enforcement actions in Minneapolis.

No one should be shot and killed by ICE agents. Too many lives have already been lost.
We are demanding a full, independent investigation, respect for due process, and a recommitment to the basic American values of dignity, accountability, and the rule of law.

This morning, I met with SUNY Chancellor King to discuss continuing our historic tuition freeze while ensuring State aid continues to support our students.
