@thisisfoster I understand the argument of not doing things for man but for the Lord Col 3:23 but I struggle how being nice doesnt fall into either goodness or gentleness, two separate gifts from the Spirit different from the gift of kindness Gal 5:22-23.
@EMSerletic86 @jakeshieldsajj A factor to also consider is that George Floyd was also having a panic attack. In the video of the minutes leading up to George Floyd being placed on the ground, he was yelling for his mama when he was being placed in the back of the squad car. From claustrophobia I believe.
@NathanMarquardt@DrFrankTurek@DustyDeevers Agreed. Pro life groups consider a limited window for murder as a moral victory. The abolishment of abortion murders is the only consistent action with the Word of God. We are known by God at conception and formed in His image in the womb. Jer 1:5 Job 31:15
@RevKimWChafee @kjfit33 A true sign of a poorly formed theological worldview. You dont defend your beliefs as the early christians did in light of the scriptures. You defend as the lost do by attacking someones age, or by some other fallacy. The lost hate Christians for the same reason they hate Christ.
@DearChristianPC @deanlentini @RickWarren Rick Warren changed his mind on his original belief. The Word of God did not change. Rick changed. How often do we see this in other avenues of life when it comes to scripture. There is a reason why the bible states to "lean not in your own understanding."
@rmhoffmanauthor Hate of sin is what the bible defines as the nature of God. 1 Corinthians 6 describes wrongdoing and goes on to say "and that is what some of you were until" what?
@bakerjjw Glad to see that you serve a God who is beholden to His creation. Couldnt we justify all sin in the same manner? Would the early church agree that certain sinning is irreversible? No such thing as "born again"?
@Actionman513 Glad to see you get fight of the night Chris. What a war that was. You represent our Queen City so very well like some of the other greats: Dom Steele, Daniel Straus, Jorge Gurgel and of couse Rich Franklin.
@PowderStone@kevinmyoung@bgilman66 Debate is an honest manner in which someone can express a truth. It allows a counter argument to expose the foundation of that truth. Most of what I see from Kevin is truth based on human emotion. Not on objective truth. You would be surprised how much people rely on fallacies.
@rsbarrington@kevinmyoung@bgilman66 Of course, problably no need for Jesus to die on the cross then. Or after 50 years of decline, does Jesus even need to exist? The truth of thd gospel didn't change, you're the one that changed.
@kevinmyoung@bgilman66 Seems like an important topic for an honest debate. When can we see that? Or is there a rider on your appearance that the other debater must profess uniquivocally your name written in the Lamb's book of life before we can get there?
@kevinmyoung Love of God that low that it didnt make the top 12? Even though it was Jesus' top action? You remember me mentioning about mission and secular lens?
@kevinmyoung Because I believe in the authority of Gods word as Christ did of the Old Testament? And the truth of the gospel as presented by Paul and the Apostles? Who's presenting a different gospel, Kevin? Who is adopting a secular lens and calling it sacred?
