PROFESSOR IBRAHIM OLAWALE OLATEJU ELECTED DEAN, POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL

Prof. Ibrahim Olawale Olateju has been elected as the new Dean, Lagos State University Postgraduate School polling the highest number of votes in a keenly contested election, held on Tuesday, 11th July 2023.

He defeated two other candidates to emerge winner of the keenly contested election.

Prof. Ibrahim Olateju, a Professor of Project Management, is the current Sub-Dean, Lagos State University Postgraduate School. He is expected to assume office on Friday, 15th July 2023. He will succeed Prof. Joseph Olagunju whose tenure expires on July 14th, 2023.

In September, 2010, when Bishnu Shrestha was returning home after serving in the Indian Army, 40 armed bandits boarded the train he was on & started looting the passengers.

He allowed the bandits to rob him at gunpoint. However, the bandits soon began to mess with a girl in front of her parents, who were watching helplessly, he couldn't sit down any longer. Shrestha lost it.

He took out his knife and fought the entire group of bandits, killing 3 and injuring 8 others. The rest of the bandits fled after watching him in action.
