TOKEN TUNES - A NEW MUSIC ECOSYSTEM 🎵

If you've been wanting to learn more about @tokentunes, what we're building, how things work and everything in-between then please take a few moments to read through our brand new official white paper 🗒️

WHO'S BEHIND TOKEN TUNES?

Our founder is Brian Garrett (@briangarrett) a life-long entrepreneur and 20 year music industry veteran that built his last company @futurestar brick by brick from the ground up to become a well known brand in the music business with over 25 million records sold

In addition to his music background he has been active in crypto since 2017 and NFTs since 2021 which gives him a unique perspective by having extensive experience in both industries

You can check out https://t.co/coYnb3OBbq to see some of the artists and record labels that he has received RIAA certified gold and platinum plaques with

For more information on Brian please check out the post that's in the announcements section of our discord or the post that's in the highlights section on our X

WHAT IS TOKEN TUNES?

Token Tunes is building the biggest and the best organic music community in web3

We're not just another one of these NFT projects with botted followers, botted engagement, an anonymous founder and some useless animal or cartoon jpeg that ultimately provides no use or value to the holder

We're the complete opposite - we're bringing something that's new, exciting, fun, collectible, valuable, exclusive, rare, tradable, real, organic and thoroughly planned

Token Tunes is a brand new web3 music distribution company that will house many different NFT collections under our umbrella

We're partnering with mainstream artists that you already know and love to release exclusive music for fans and collectors via limited edition NFTs

You won't find these songs on Spotify or Apple Music they'll only be found in our holders wallets

All of the music NFTs that we release will feature 100% real and original songs

This isn't AI generated music it's the same quality and standard that usually goes on traditional streaming services but instead it's exclusive to us and for you

Our music ecosystem will be rolled out in 2 phases

WHAT ARE THE 2 PHASES OF OUR ECOSYSTEM?

Phase 1: Studio Pass (one-time mint)

Phase 2: Music Releases (ongoing drops)

Token Tunes will be utilizing OpenSea for our marketplace integration to take advantage of their backend infrastructure, launchpad, name recognition, pre-existing user base, marketing support, etc.

We'll be having a call with their team in the coming weeks to discuss strategy, logistics and synergies

For minting specifically we're still deciding if we're going to mint directly on OpenSea or if we'll mint directly on our website (https://t.co/4rrqTlXm9S) to have a more interactive and customized experience so make sure that you stay tuned for those details

Our only official OpenSea is https://t.co/3G3t8MwWmV

WHAT'S THE STUDIO PASS?

The studio pass is phase 1 of the Token Tunes ecosystem and will be a one-time mint

It will be our flagship NFT collection and will be the most important key to our whole ecosystem

Studio pass holders will become our core community

Once the studio pass mint completes we'll set a reveal date where each pass will transform into a gold, platinum or diamond music plaque

This plaque will matter for all of our music releases going forward as each tier will have different benefits

We're going to release another separate, detailed and very in-depth post specifically about the studio pass once we get closer to its launch

That post will include all of the pertinent information for the studio pass such as its utility, more about the different plaque tiers and of course all of the mint details such as supply amount, price, WL info, etc.

You won't need a studio pass to be involved with our future music releases but trust us you'll want one

HOW DO THE MUSIC RELEASES WORK?

The music releases begin phase 2 of the Token Tunes ecosystem and will be consistent ongoing drops

There will be 2 different ways that our exclusive music NFTs get released

1. Drops based on collection size
(once "X" number get minted it's over)

2. Drops based on time
(once "X" amount of time passes it's over)

Regardless of which distribution model is used both options will always have a limited supply to help keep our NFTs rare, collectible, valuable and desirable

We will let the artist decide which method they prefer to use for that specific release - more control for them

The easiest way to think of Token Tunes in web3 terms would be like Yuga Labs where each music release that we put out will be a separate NFT collection similarly to how they have BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, Otherside, etc.

Each collection will have its own WL, its own mint, its own floor price, its own music, its own artwork, its own benefits, its own community of holders, etc.

Having each release as its own collection allows people complete flexibility to choose what they want to buy

It also allows the market to decide a value for each specific release so they can trade accordingly for secondary sales once the initial mint has concluded

The best way to think of us in web2 terms would be like Universal Music Group or Warner Music Group

One parent company that distributes a variety of major artists via consistent new releases

Genres will primarily be hip hop, R&B, pop and country

WHAT CHAIN IS TOKEN TUNES ON?

Token Tunes will be on Ethereum

All of our exclusive music NFTs will be available on ETH

It's the most established chain for NFTs with the highest number of active wallets, users and daily volume

Legendary artists deserve a legendary chain

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?

Having a strong utility driven narrative to differentiate ourselves and stand out is what we believe will be our key to success in web3

Token Tunes isn't competing with jpegs from anonymous founders we're in a league of our own

Our primary competitive advantage is that nobody else in the space can mimic our business model because nobody else in the space has both the music and the web3 relationships or resources that we do

Those resources only come from years of building relationships and from years of hands-on experience

Music really needs a new distribution layer and NFTs really need new utility - our revolutionary business model solves both these problems simultaneously

Token Tunes is bringing exclusive songs from your favorite artists on-chain like never before

With traditional music streaming:

- there's no ownership of anything
- there's nothing exclusive
- there's no community
- there's no value or upside
- there's no direct impact
- there's no experience besides listening

With Token Tunes you get all of this plus more

WHY WILL ARTISTS PARTNER WITH US?

There are many reasons why artists will partner with Token Tunes here are just some of them:

• New source of revenue where they finally get the lion's share of money generated instead of a tiny fraction

• Release music they made but aren’t putting out through traditional streaming services that would otherwise just sit on their hard drive collecting dust

• Reach a whole new demographic of passionate web3 music fans and collectors

• Retain ownership of all their masters and publishing

• Get paid every time someone buys their music so they continue to make money from their art in perpetuity

• Money immediately goes directly to their wallet no middle men involved or waiting on payments it’s all automated on the blockchain via smart contracts

• They can drop new music whenever they want we just need a short notice to set up everything on the backend

• They'll build a bigger audience and fanbase on X because it's web3's strongest social media platform whereas X is most artists weakest social media platform

• Sub-communities will form from fans who hold each release since it’s exclusive to only them which causes deeper connections amongst their core fanbase

• Less piracy than traditional music releases because it’s a smaller exclusive supply so there are less people who have it and people don’t typically want to give out the music for free that they just paid to get exclusively

• Artists will also have the option to bundle something with the music (if they choose) some examples could be exclusive vinyl collector editions, special edition physical cds, exclusive merch or an IRL experience these would be redeemable after minting the NFT

• They already know Future Star is a reputable company that has deep history in the music business for over 20 years so they feel comfortable that they’re working with a legitimate founder who is well known and doxxed

• We already have 6 years of experience with just NFTs and web3 specifically which is something they don't

• The same way artists used to give @futurestar new exclusive songs to world premiere to DJs and media outlets now they can give Token Tunes new exclusive songs to sell as limited edition NFT releases

WHY WOULD YOU BUY OUR NFTS?

Just like there are many reasons why artists will release music through us there are also many reasons why collectors and fans will buy music from us:

• Get exclusive new music from your favorite artists

• Also get the exclusive new artwork attached to it

• New and engaging way of investing in your favorite artists by getting a rare piece of music from them

• Supporting the artist directly instead of some big major label corporate system that's robbing them

• Exclusive holder only giveaways and chances to get additional VIP opportunities

• Exciting mint and reveal process where buyers not only get to hear the exclusive music and see the exclusive artwork but they also get to see if they revealed a rare one that comes with any extra benefit or experience

• Bragging rights to be able to play exclusive music from your favorite mainstream artists to your friends, family, and co-workers that they can’t find anywhere else

• Fans can buy, sell or trade these exclusive releases to other collectors at any time

• Potential for upside in value since these drops are from major artists, they have a limited supply, they have utility and they're rare collectibles

• Feels much more personal and direct to the artist

• Build connections with other fans and collectors both online and IRL who hold the same releases as you

• Turn passive listening into active participation

• Blockchain provides verifiable proof of ownership so you can always show that you own a specific release

• Our music releases aren't competing with any streaming subscriptions we're competing against other collectibles, VIP experiences, investments, etc.

WHY WOULD YOU HOLD THEM AFTER MINT?

• Community
• Exclusivity
• Collectibility
• Rarity
• Bragging rights
• Investment
• Prestige
• Utility for future releases
• Holder only giveaways and opportunities

WHAT'S OUR TIMELINE?

Right now our sole focus is on building our foundation by curating a core community on both X and discord

We deeply understand the importance and the value of having a strong community in web3 and we don't believe a company can survive in this space without one

We're in no immediate rush to launch anything we're a brand new company that's still early and still building

The studio pass (phase 1) mint details will be announced as soon as we believe it's the right time we don't want to give any set date as of now because there are too many variables and too many moving pieces

After the studio pass launches and the mint completes we'll then shift our entire focus to the ongoing music releases (phase 2) which will begin shortly thereafter

You'll have plenty of notice for everything there won't be any stealth launches, rushed mints or random tokens dropping out of the blue so if you see any of the aforementioned just know that it's 100% a scam

Any and all official communication will only come from @tokentunes and/or @briangarrett

WHY SHOULD YOU BE BULLISH?

• First of its kind
• Utility focused
• Music NFTs
• Mainstream artists
• Exclusive songs
• Limited supply
• Real and organic
• Artist powered
• Community driven
• Great mechanics
• Extra opportunities
• Fun mint and reveal
• Doxxed founder
• Strong IP and brand

WHERE COULD THIS GO?

For the foreseeable future our primary focus is on our initial studio pass mint and then our ongoing music releases but we have already thought of ways that our IP and brand can expand down the road here are a few:

• Labels partnering with us for our ecosystem and for us to become the web3 leg of their distribution chain

• Web2 companies partnering with us to do brand deals

• Web3 projects partnering with us for collaborations

• IRL activations such as a music festival or other exclusive events for holders

• Ticker $TUNES if we expand the ecosystem to a coin

• The possibilities are virtually endless

WHAT'S THE TLDR?

Token Tunes is revolutionizing the way that mainstream artists connect with music fans and collectors through limited supply NFT collections

Every music release will be its own collection with its own mint, floor price, artwork, benefits, etc.

We'll be at the forefront of music in web3 and pave the way for music NFTs

Eventually when you think of music NFTs you'll immediately think of Token Tunes

We aren't competing with Apple or Spotify we're disrupting their antiquated system by providing a brand new and innovative distribution model for artists

Full studio pass (phase 1) mint details will be released when we're closer to launch right now we're focused on building our foundation and our brand awareness

The music releases (phase 2) will begin shortly after the studio pass launch and mint has completed

There's no rush we're taking our time to get things right you only get one shot at a first impression
