Set Protocol V2 and TokenSets will no longer be under development, and we are taking measures to fully decentralize the protocol. These changes will be implemented on May 31st, 2023.

What actions have we taken?

As soon as we discovered the incident, we froze the affected Sets' operations to contain the situation. We've confirmed that no other Sets are nor will be compromised, and we're actively collaborating with law enforcement to resolve this issue.

What happened?

A Set hot wallet was compromised by an attacker, who slowly siphoned funds out of the Sets by transferring ownership, setting the maximum streaming fee, and periodically actualizing the fees; leading to the loss.

We want to inform the community that two deprecated Sets (USDAPY & WBTCAPY) were attacked, resulting in a combined loss of ∼$49K.

We're working diligently to address the incident and assure you we're taking every necessary step to recover user funds.
