Q2 employer costs of employee compensation show gov't employees cost 41.7% more than their private sector counterparts; wages & salaries are 23.9% higher while benefits cost a whopping 83.2% more for gov't employees:
Big government in bed with Big pharma, food, etc have the greatest say in govt policy and are the biggest threat to the Republic along with those inside govt that resist the will of the voters. The only cure for that dynamic is to strip govt of power.
“One of the reasons why I am in favor of less government is because when you have more government, industrialists take it over, and the two together form a coalition against the ordinary worker and the ordinary consumer.”
— Milton Friedman
Real median household income barely increased under Biden.
In President Trump’s first 14 months, it rose by $2,800 after inflation. Even after the spike in oil prices, Americans are still up roughly $2,000.
When oil falls below $70 a barrel, incomes will start rising rapidly again.
Want more affordable homes? Then we need more on the market.
The capital-gains exclusion on home sales hasn’t changed since 1997. Its value has thus been cut in half, discouraging homeowners from selling. Fewer homes mean higher prices and fewer choices for buyers.

Roughly 463,000 voters in California do not provide a drivers license or last four digits of their social security when they register to vote, according to a statement given to me this week by California's Secretary of State.
"Approximately ninety-eight percent of all registered voters in California include a driver’s license or the last four numbers of their Social Security number when registering to vote." -SOS
A state report from May says there are 23.1 million registered voters. 2% of that is roughly 463,000.
If you are wondering where California’s tax dollars go and why the state is drowning in debt, here is a hint:
250 state employees were paid more than $600,000 last year.
California does not have a revenue problem. It has a spending problem.
California has not passed a mileage tax to replace the gas tax, but lawmakers approved AB 1421 in early 2026 to continue studying a potential road charge system that would tax drivers based on miles driven; the study must report findings to the Legislature by January 1, 2027.
The implications for a mileage tax if implemented for families, seniors, and working people are already struggling with the rising cost of living. It’s no surprise that many Californians are choosing to leave for states like Tennessee, Texas, Florida, and Nevada.
We the People are feeling the squeeze. Pay attention to the policies, know how your representatives vote, and make your voice heard at the ballot box this November.
What we need to do is just get rid of this ridiculous bloated nanny-state bureaucratic government telling us what to do” and wants to charge us by the mile for the privilege of driving your own car.
Enough is enough! Tell your state lawmakers to vote NO on any new taxes especially the mileage tax currently being studied and let’s unite behind and vote for California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton and the Golden Ticket of proven fighters ready to deliver real results for working families on day one to Make California the Golden State once Again!
Here's your daily reminder: Trump and Republicans are kicking 15 million Americans off their health care so that people like Mark Zuckerberg can buy another yacht.
Mortgage rates are way up. Home construction is down. Rents are astronomical. All of this is worse since Trump took power, because of the tariffs and the Iran War.
It's hard to know what planet, let alone what housing market, JD Vance is living in, to be able to make such out-of-touch claims with a straight face.
