@ihyonyxx Knew a person whos wish was to go to the VS fashion show which is 18+ so they had to get an exception. So I imagine they gotta get an exception?
I rarely eat out.
Maybe once a month. Went yesterday to a restaurant (Italian, Mediterranean) in West Seattle for Mother’s Day last night.
Total for 5 of us ( we don’t drink alcohol) with one salad, humus and 3 vegetarian pastas was $97
The check said 3.5% surcharge for credit card. Then 17% service fee, mandatory.
Then tips were 20% 22% and 25% optional.
I asked if I could pay in cash.
No. They don’t take cash. Then how can I avoid the credit card fee I asked.
You can’t.
So I asked why the service charge.
It pays for the employees they said.
Then why the tip I asked.
It pays for front office staff
I don’t get it.
@bizloanbobby2@SadLexify@bornposting Agreed, the math above makes him 22, straight out of Dartmouth when he started at SC. His name easily would have gotten him the Jr Exec role, even if there was a lower position.
I won't out the course but here is aspect of Country Clubs that I think needs to change.
I had a player playing in the US Amateur.
We hired the clubs best caddie to help us navigate the course in practice rounds.
Guy was great.
With our USGA credentials on first day at the club we asked him after the round if he would like to join us for lunch.
He couldn't, he wasn't allowed in the clubhouse and we were able to go in and out freely.
I hate this about higher end golf.
Good caddies are assets and should be treated as such.
Please retweet this if you agree.
@Austen I understand the point. I'd like a "<1%" and a "1% or higher" just so my wife doesn't make me sleep on the couch for not supporting our kid's dreams.
Hey Disney. Remember that Malcom in the Middle episode called Houseboat. When a bunch of cheerleaders came up to the boys. And Stevie was checking them out. In fact when him and Reese came back from seeing them, he had a big happy grin on his face during that episode. That so isn’t Straight, right?

@Matt2Frosty Is this absolutely either/or? My buddies uncle is a member. I would take the yearly tickets and bring said buddy every year. Make friends with his uncle over the next 30 years (while improving my game). Hopefully secure an invite to play with him before he croaks.
