Why I'm Leaving X

What Elon is doing with Tesla and SpaceX are without a doubt pushing society forward. I admire him for that and will support both. What he’s doing with X, on the other hand, is damaging to the world, to our democracy, to critical thinking, and to our communities.

Musk's own AI tool, Grok, suggests he's the largest proponent of misinformation on the platform. And with all my work with communities, I know the community norms on X are heavily influenced by its leader. As goes Elon, so goes X.

So, I'm choosing to leave X. My attention is my currency, and I can no longer give my attention here.
