The good times were really good while they lasted, but it's easy to be a demigod in a bull market. The true measure of an entrepreneur is taken now and in the months ahead. And for the former demigods, their biographies will be all about what they did when the bear came.
The latest obvious and not-at-all helpful advice VCs are treating entrepreneurs to is, “You’ve got to tighten your belts!” It’s ironic considering five minutes ago too many of them were demanding to know from those same entrepreneurs, “Where’s the ramp?” #VCLand
