In 1976, television history was made when Dean Martin surprised Jerry Lewis during the MDA Labor Day Telethon after having not seen each other since their untimely breakup twenty years earlier.
The plan was schemed by Frank Sinatra, first convincing Martin who always hated they never made amends, and was kept hidden in Ed McMahon's dressing room out of sight from Lewis during the show.
I especially love you can hear Lewis say to Sinatra under his breath "You son of a b*tch".

It had EVERYTHING!

- Whitey Herzog and Giants manager Roger Craig got into a heated shouting then shoving match.
- Herzog wrestled with Joel Youngblood and Randy Kutcher.
- Players from both sides were throwing haymakers and dogpiling.
- Giants pitcher Mike Krukow suffered leg and rib injuries during the scuffle that landed him on the disabled list
- Police come on the field and get chased off by the umpires
- Cardinals catcher Mike Heath literally picked up Vince Coleman and carried him off the field into the dugout with a little help from Ozzie Smith
