🤍Nicola Nuttall, mother of Laura tells @TonyLivesey about the legacy her daughter wanted to leave.
Laura raised thousands for cancer charities after being diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer in 2018.
@tonylivesey@shitscaredmum@bbc5live I will be listening Tony. I will never forget how wonderful you always were to my Rachie. She adored you and loved working with you. Her book ‘For Freddie’ was all thanks to you. Sending my special love and thoughts to Nicola. xx

I'm heartbroken to share the news that we lost our beautiful Laura in the early hours of this morning.
She was fierce & tenacious to the end & it was truly the honour of my life to be her mum.
We are devastated at the thought of life without our girl, she was a force of nature💔
@GaynaHodges I remember sobbing in the kitchen when I heard on @bbc5live Rachael had died. I'd followed her story for years, having enjoyed listening to her with @tonylivesey. What an incredible legacy she left, people talk about cancer now in a way they didn't before, you must be so proud ❤️
A privilege to sit next to the brilliant @tonylivesey last night. I gave a strange shriek of joy when he won! We’ve worked together for many years and it’s richly deserved. The love he showed @bowelbabe in her final days showed him as both great person and a skilled presenter.
Last night myself and @bowelbabe Dame Deborah James won gold at the radio oscars for our final ever conversation. Radio Times moment of the year. Somewhere I hear the drinking of Prosecco and the shouting of ‘check your poo!’ ❤️
This was THE award winning moment I couldn’t say goodbye and yet @bowelbabe Dame Debs found the words and showed why she continues to inspire millions. ❤️❤️❤️
"I'm not going to say goodbye"
The emotional final on-air conversation between Dame Deborah James and 5 Live presenter @tonylivesey has been voted moment of the year at the #UKARIAS
An incredible listen ♥️
