Thank you for considering!!
@AlaneAdamsBooks I will be starting my 17th year in the classroom in August. I teach HS English in IL. Most items on my list are books for my classroom library as I ❤️ sharing books with kids. Thank you for considering my students!! #clearthelist#ClearTheListWithAlane

@mosswa I’ve been asking myself the same. Resilience, self-discipline, motivation, empathy…these are certainly challenges for my HS students. I, too, want to do better. How?

@RebekahODell1
Let the hard work begin! Our essential questions (two different classes) have been dissected, mentors studied, and research is in progress before flash drafting, revising x4, and publishing!
@reckj@mrjaycoles How are you able to offer feedback? I just started NB Time this year and now that I’m six weeks in, I’m realizing just how to make our 4 mins of writing more effective. I’m interested in hearing how you structure NB time. :)
@lauramalafarina @RebekahODell1 @pennykittle Am nearly finished with Writing with Mentors--@lauramalafarina, do you use stats and photos too for notebook time? I'm struggling with organization of all of my ideas!!
Sharing for those who enjoy helping teachers fulfill their classroom wishlist. This list is for my HS English classroom in IL. https://t.co/tA6lHaUOYB #classroomwishlist#hsenglish#Teachers#school
@lauramalafarina I started something similar with Rebekah O’Dell’s Writing Moves and it reallllly helped my students vary sentence structure and word choice. When you pose these sentences to students, do you have a probing question?
