@Danelerc what would that accomplish? Swapping them around for no net diff in position, putting the driver with the tires more likely to get p1 in a worse position, and put them at an increased risk of crashing bc driver behind on better tires? Think from more than just ur drivers pov
@dxbestani The Leclerc fans make no sense. Gamble what? It would’ve only served CL to stay out and dramatically hurt the teams chances of grabbing first from p2 on equal soft tires
@fortifoursi This was pretty much confirmed. Stroll and Alonso have said there’s a massive mid season update coming that will basically match where most teams were 3 races ago
@FormulaRana Hamilton mentioned the car was worse, and watching the onboards you could see how tentative he was being into t1 and mid corner, which compounds all the way up
@FergiesRightRef@FerrariF1FRA Yes because Ferrari has great DF and a track like Canada is hard to keep tire temp. At hot tracks, we still have to push in corners which means we overheat bc there’s no power
@FulvioVigilante You think power upgrades will come that soon? That would mean it has been worked on and ready for a very long time… engine + massive aero rumors = championship on?
@FulvioVigilante Sorry I misunderstood, I thought you meant pre season my mistake.
But does it matter if it’s in that form? Every team has brought 1 big upgrade so it’s all even now
@dr_obbs This explains the mouse hole cut outs seen next to where your red arrow is: maximizing clean air inflow to that area of the diffuser.
I find the length/angle/direction of the floor cuts extremely interesting. Some teams do 45deg, some straight backward, some more longitudinal
📻 Max: "Thank you guys, you worked very hard for this, you've done a really good job.. This is just super frustrating to drive, but thank you."
📻 GP: "Frustrating is the drivers upfront Max, elated with this whole thing."
OHH GET THEM AGAIN FOR ME GP 👏👏
✳️Aston Martin + Newey✳️
Newey has cooked once again on the suspension.
front and rear WB are as high on the chassis as possible. the extreme position of the rear upper WB of the front suspension + rear suspension mounted on the rear wing pylon = clean flow

@dr_obbs Take a look at the rear suspension. Seems like that’s the more interesting place than the front suspension.
Front suspension upper WB mounted to wheel hub with a pillar like 2017 Merc
