On thing that's so frustrating about the "Starship is doomed" narrative is that no one else is even close. Stoke is working on fully reusable rockets but hasn't tested anything. No one else is even trying yet.
Starship is the only program actually launching hardware for a fully-reusable rocket. Any "analyst" that doesn't acknowledge that is just spreading misinformation.
Focusing on sub-orbital vs. orbital is not interesting. Starship could yet fail as a program--maybe they never get to rapid re-usability; maybe they never get in-space refueling to work reliably.
But harping on their current step-by-step testing as if it's a major flaw is either deliberate misinformation or uninformed analysis.
@BradRTorgersen In each case, though, the female officers stay loyal to the ship and captain. Palamas negs Apollo, saying her interest in him is only scientific, as a way to distract him while Kirk tries something.
I can barely get through 10% of my weekly tokens on Codex, even though I feel I'm using it constantly. Skill issue or are they just being super generous? Maybe both.
@FSlazer This is a ridiculous comparison. Saturn V wasn't designed to be fully-reusable. Shuttle is a better comparison, and if they had iterated and refined it more before putting it into service, maybe it wouldn't have killed 14 astronauts.
POV: You’re coming home after a journey around the Moon. 🌕
Before reentering Earth’s atmosphere at the end of Artemis II, the Orion spacecraft’s crew module — carrying the astronauts — separated from the service module that provided propulsion and power throughout the mission.
@CinemaTweets1 My daughter (6) loves watching this--amazing that a new generation will have the same touchstone.
I'm also in awe that Robert Wise directed this and Star Trek: TMP and Andromeda Strain. He was the Ridley Scott of his generation.
That's fair--and I think you're right.
Maybe it's not about kicking ass but about seeing the intervening years between RotJ and TLJ.
In TLJ, Luke starts as a broken man and find belief again at the end. I think that's a reasonable arc, but the change from triumphant Luke in RotJ to broken Luke was just too large. Maybe taking more time to show that progression would have helped.
But maybe not. Maybe that arc was never possible.
@Capt_Barker@Danimalish I personally liked TLJ. But I also think Luke's ending would have resonated more if we had seen three more movies with him kicking ass like a true Jedi at the height of his power.
@CinemaTweets1 I high school my friends and I got dressed up to go see Return of the Jedi. Then we walked home from the theater and the cops stopped us because we definitely looked out of place.
It's #StarWarsDay and we’ve got two X-wings!
In DC: See an X-wing Starfighter used in filming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
At the Udvar-Hazy Center: See a cargo drone themed to look like an X-wing that was flown over Walt Disney World Resort.

🪨The Asteroid Field chase in The Empire Strikes back is my all time favorite chase scene. Everything about this scene is perfect! Han's humor and flirting with Leia, the desperation of the chase, 3PO and his odds!
A perfect scene from the greatest Star Wars film of all time 🐐

Hope I don't run out of tokens too soon!
Following future rollout of FSD V14 Lite for HW3 vehicles in the US, we plan on expanding V14 Lite to additional international markets.
This update ensures that HW3 vehicle owners will continue to benefit from ongoing software updates.
Since international rollout is subject to several factors (completion of technical verification, regional adaptation & relevant regulatory approvals), we can't provide definitive dates at the moment, but will provide updates on a rolling basis
