So the charge is VICAR - Violent Crime in aid of Racketeering activity. [18 U.S. Code § 1959] That's Charge 1. This is a charge that encompasses all of the Racket and the violence [2x murder, 1x California, 1x Chicago + 2x attempted murder in Georgia]. The Drug trafficking is part of the racket that the violent crime was committed in aid of. Basically remaining charges Durk, Dede and Lindsay is facing jointly are 1 & 7 encompassing all of the activity outlined in the Introductory Allegations [Page 2-11] which includes the murder of Stephon Mack [Victim 2]. This is why it cites a collection of statutes that cover murder in California and Chicago & Attempted Murder in Georgia and Federal drug distribution. Nobody is charged with drug trafficking, it's a racket that did some drug dealing that killed people to further it's goals. I'm really just trying to get to the bottom of what these remaining charges are since it's the reason Lil Durk is not currently free.

I just re read the 4th indictment Durk is 100% charged with the Stephon Mack Chicago Murder Conspiracy as a VICAR. They didn't cite the Chicago criminal code for murder for nothing

Note that Page 3-4 states Durk's gang committed violence [murder of both SM and SR] and other acts to further the enterprise. That Durk used leaders of the gang [Dede, who's been found guilty of stalking resulting in death] recruited others [like Lindsay, also found Guilty] to recruit people to commit violence for the gang [now proven by jury trial]. All of these allegations along with the above allegation of funding drug trafficking and a chicago murder is included in the 'Introductiry Allegations' [page 2-11] which each of the outstanding counts [1+7] cite AS WELL as the death of SR.

You're right that the drug code is included as drug offences are also part of the racket which the violent crimes [murder] are in furtherance of. I believe Boonie Moe's drug conviction may be used as proof of this. It's claimed on Page 4 that Durk was also funding the purchase of illegal narcotics for the gang.
