Congrats to Robin Buck, January's TreeMAK of the month! After 22 years living in the green suburbs of London, Robin returned to her hometown last year and wanted to continue her passion for the environment in Charlotte. She helps us at plantings, adoptions, and TreeKeeper days!

Meet December's TreeMAK of the month! Tyler Kroeschell came to TreesCharlotte as many of our TreeMasters do: by adopting trees from us, enjoying the experience, and deciding to get more involved. And we couldn't be more grateful! Congrats Tyler!

Full circle moment: our social media manager's favorite Muppet (because she had them ranked and ordered at age 10) used to be PePe, the Prawn. Guess her current favorite (because she still has them ranked and ordered) in the comments 👇️

Get to know December's tree of the month! Most known for its holiday use, the Fraser fir is actually endangered in the wild, though the ones in your house are grown as crops. If you're ever hiking in the Appalachian Mountains, keep your eyes out for wild Christmas trees!

Want to take your volunteer experience to the next level? Join us next month for our TreeMAK training, where you can learn how to be a TreeMaster or TreeKeeper at our events! To register and see more details, visit https://t.co/i9itF5rYqw!

We're often asked how many of our trees survive after planting. Freshly planted trees are more susceptible to pests, diseases, and severe weather. Without our TreeCare events these trees may have difficulty thriving. Register now for our next TreeeCare at https://t.co/ny0NQaD4Iq.

[treescharlotte @treescharlotte]

There are still some trees left for our East Zip Code TreeAdoption, which is now open to the whole City of Charlotte! Find out how to register for two free trees at https://t.co/QsvSZh0URY

We had some mischief at our last planting...

Don't worry, we uninvited him from our planting this Saturday at Eastway Middle School. There will be no mulch volcanoes, rakes left to trip on, or trash left out. Register now at https://t.co/VdP66W6TPA

We've compiled a vision board for your next Saturday, December 14th, when you come out to volunteer with us at Eastway Middle School!!
